Here is John in a tree.

John took the following photos. I had to re-do this front flip 8 times to get all of these shots, but some how they all look like one front flip all together.

Michael and Sharon were able to come over for fireworks.

Here is me dropping a roman candle from my hand because it caught fire. It's not suppose to do that. I figured I'd rather not risk losing my hand.

You can see Sharon running in the distance.

Here are some of the mortars we got. I look like I'm fixing a wedgie in this picture. haha!

The fireworks were a lot of fun! :) Thankfully, no one got hurt!
This was a picture John took of me through binoculars. He insisted that I put it on my blog.

Cool front flip! That shot of John walking at an angle out of the darkness looks scary! The fireworks pictures are cool! Looks like so much fun!
The photo through the binoculars has this old-time feel for some reason... like a little girl in a secret garden. I don't know why, but it's cool!
Thanks for your comment! Well, actually the sickness I mentioned was not on the holiday but last Saturday, July 5th! I think I didn't make that very clear in my post, sorry! Thankfully I didn't feel queasy on the holiday till the trip back on June 28th, but now I'm still having the queasiness off & on even today (Monday!) I'm starting to wonder if it's hormonal as it's dragging on so long! :(
The ferry ride was 8 hours. I know, the windmills were creepy but cool! They put windmills on land too but it's better out to sea where they can't be seen, or somewhere where they're not spoiling a great view! ;)
Love you,
Mary
Wow Holly! It's cool to see your front flip here! It does look like just one flip! I remember you had to keep doing them over and over, and you had red legs after; Ouch!
Mary was right, John looks scary coming out of the darkness! :Þ
I remember when you dropped you firework! Must have been scary to hold "fire". :)
And Mary was right again, that picture through the binoculars looks like an old time picture! To me it looks ind of like you're ten, and are holding a base ball bat! Don't ask how I saw that, it just looks that way to me! :)
Love you always!
Hey Sharon!
Probably not the smartest thing to do dropping a roman candle.. but hey! It really was on fire... I was worried I'd lose a few fingers. :( Thankfully, no one got hurt!!!! :)
Haha! I can see that in the binocular picture.
Thanks for stopping by my blog! :)
Love,
Holly
